“Ki moun ou ye’ means” Who are you” in Kreyòl ayisyen. I spent a month volunteering in Haiti and it was a life changing experience. I find myself questioning who I am as I struggle to get back to the life I had before Haiti- so I am blogging about it.

Haiti earthquake by the numbers
- 222, 570 deaths
- 300,572 injuries
- 1300 camps, or "sponaneous settlements" (peak)
- 1,500,000 people live in the camps
- 604,215 people left Port-au-Prince and the West Dept.
- 188,383 houses destroyed or badly damaged
- 80 percent of Port-au-Prince schools destroyed or damaged
- 60 percent of hospitals in the affected region destroyed or damaged
- 70 percent reduction in Haiti's GDP
7,000 babies per month delivered since the quake
